Acarey Catamaran Ride

Location: Costera Miguel Alemán, Muelle Central, Acapulco, Mexico
The Acarey is a spacious party catamaran with three levels, accommodating up to 350 guests. It offers daily bay tours, including a sunset cruise and an evening departure. Departures are from the Town Pier (Malecón) across from the Zócalo.

• The three-to-four-hour ride features an open bar (national beverages), music, and entertainment.
• Contests and prizes organized by bilingual guides (English and Spanish, with other languages available upon request).

Tickets range from $20 to $35, with lower prices available at the dock. The top deck can also be rented for private events for up to 40 guests. Don’t miss this lively way to experience Acapulco’s vibrant coastline.

Tranvía turístico, Acapulco’s charming trolley-style bus, has come and gone. The much-loved trolley returned again in 2019 and then disappeared with Hurricane Otis. We are unsure if and when it will operate again but will leave their old schedule here for reference.

• Route 1: Golden Zone, downtown, and cliff divers (12:30 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM).
• Route 2: Golden Zone and scenic viewpoints of Acapulco Bay and Puerto Marqués—ideal for photography (11:00 AM and 5:00 PM).
• Route 3: Zócalo, Cathedral, and San Diego Fort (available based on demand).
• Route 4: Botanical Gardens (available based on demand).
