Ristorante Casanova
Ristorante Casanova is carved into the mountain overlooking Acapulco from the east. Visitors also have a view of the Pacific outside the bay. Guests arrive at a glass enclosed entrance on the highway level that leads to a marble stairway and down to the reception area below. From there, guests will marvel at the beautiful views of Acapulco by night. Marble and stone are used throughout the premises. An elegant cocktail lounge with large sofas is provided for aperitifs or aprés diner. Piano music is provided in the lounge nightly. Casanova was designed by Ricardo Rojas, a nationally-known architect who makes his home in Acapulco. Guests can choose to dine in the air conditioned dining room or in the fresh air on the terrace. The cuisine is Northern Italian fine dining, including veal, fish and home made pastas. Imported lamb and salmon are also on the menu. The wine list is complete, and the bar well-stocked with all the finest brands. The AAA awarded Casanova its Four Diamond Award for Dining Excellence. The restaurant is listed as one of the "Distinguished Restaurants of North America."
