Los Cazadores
Los Cazadores is a "pozolería," meaning that it is a Mexican restaurant specializing in pozole, a spicy corn dish with chicken, seafood or pork, accompanied by all sorts of garnishes. Pozole is very similar to pearl hominy in the US. In Acapulco, Thursday is the traditional day for eating pozole, and Los Cazadores begins its week on Thursday. It closes from Sunday through Wednesday. It's a great time and a lot of fun to sit at one of the tables, drinking beer, eating pozole, and watching the entertainment. Los Cazadores likes to put on a show where transvestites impersonate famous singers. The place is usually packed during high season. Around the walls are memorabilia and photos of many of the celebrities who have shared in the food and fun at Los Cazadores.
