Flor de Mar 360°
General Information
Flor de Mar 360° is the restaurant at the Hotel Elcanto. It was conceived, designed and executed by Mónica Patiño, a well-known Mexican chef. Chef Patiño places special emphasis on the ingredients, which come from all over the world, and which work together to create a fusion of Mexican cuisine with accents and flavors from Asia. An example is her use of fleur de sel, salt that has formed in crystalline clarity, to accompany the absolute purity of all her other condiments and ingredients. For breakfast, the special juices are as enchanting as the name of the hotel: mixtures of orange, pineapple and passion fruit, with a taste of honey. Smoothies and elegant French toast are also popular choices. Flor de Mar 360° serves tasty seafood, particularly the clams, oysters, ceviche, and even sushi. A special lounge menu is available for those who wish to eat in the bar. As the name of the restaurant implies, all of these culinary delights can be enjoyed while gazing at the Pacific Ocean from your high vantage point, nearly 360 degrees.
