El Cabrito
Since 1963, El Cabrito has been one of Acapulco's finest and favorite restaurants, serving traditional Mexican food with tremendous service in a welcoming and friendly, festive atmosphere. This family-owned and operated restaurant is a favorite celebration spot for Acapulco's full-time residents, and a must-visit place for those who only come for one or two weeks in a year. True to its name, the specialty of El Cabrito is charcoal-broiled kid with charro beans, a regional dish from the north of Mexico. The menu is filled with all the other delicious options - tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, mole, shrimp, steaks, chicken, and lots of choices of tequila, of course. The barbecue pit is visible to the customers, who can go choose their cut of meat if they wish. El Cabrito is an open-air restaurant , with an outdoor terrace as well as tables under the roof. It is on the Costera in Costa Azul, very close to the Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood.
