Señor Frog’s
Señor Frog’s is a chain of rowdy and entertaining restaurant bars located in several Mexican resort cities, owned and operated by the Anderson Group (of Carlos 'n' Charlie's fame). Whether it’s a restaurant or a bar, this a good place to get stumbling drunk with a group of amigos in a friendly environment. Senor Frogs Acapulco has a spectacular view, but it’s quite a bit more intimate than its counterparts elsewhere in Mexico. It's located in the Las Brisas area off the Scenic Highway. Drinks are reasonably priced and so is the food and you can probably have a good time here for less than $50. You might want to start out with some tequila shots before slowing down with a Michelada Cubana (beer with lime juice served in a salted glass with a spicy mixture of Worcestershire, Maggi Sauce and Tabasco or Valentina thrown in to give it some kick). The restaurant closes at about 1:00 am, but the bar stays open until much later. A classic Mexican party spot, but make sure you go on a weekend -- the weekdays can be dead.
