Ritz Acapulco All Inclusive

The Ritz Acapulco is a modern hotel right down on Hornos Beach, on Acapulco’s bay, at the beginning of the Golden Zone, near Parque Papagayo. It is an all-inclusive hotel, offering accommodations, food and beverage and recreational activities and excursions, all for a single price. The hotel is about 15 minutes’ ride from downtown Acapulco, 15 minutes from the International Convention Center, and a little over 30 minutes from the airport. Local transportation is easily arranged.

The 240 guest rooms have either a frontal or a partial ocean view and are stylishly appointed. Different configurations are available, from twin beds and a fold-out sofa to a king-size bed with a fold-out sofa. All are air conditioned and offer an in-room safe, color cable TV and a bath with shower. Most have private balconies, and 70% have a bathtub. Frontal view rooms can be guaranteed at the time of reservation by asking for a junior suite, which is a higher rate than the standard room.

The several restaurants and bars serve up a variety of meal choices and all the national brand drinks a person could want. “La Cava” is the upscale a la carte restaurant with a Mediterranean décor and an international menu. It is open only during high season, with three seatings nightly. The “Villa Linda” restaurant is open for three meals a day, with buffet service only. “La Fiesta” is a palapa right on the beach, serving snacks, light meals and drinks. A separate poolside bar is open every afternoon. Indoors, the Bar Margaritas is not only a cozy bar for conversation, but also a venue for nightly live music.

During the day the hotel, the beach and the pool areas are busy with activity, and at night there is always entertainment for both grown-ups and children. A special children’s club keeps the little ones entertained while the parents can relax in style, supervised by trained staff.

Security is provided around the clock. Wireless Internet is available in public areas, and in the rooms for an additional charge. Babysitting services can be arranged. Public areas and many guest rooms are wheelchair accessible. Valet parking is offered for an additional fee. The lobby area has tobacco shops, a drug and sundries store, a beachwear shop. Guests are free to use the exercise facility on premises.

The pool, sundeck and beach area are contiguous. The staff provides all the towels and appointments necessary to make the vacation relaxing and worry-free. Optional activities, like aqua-aerobics, rhythmic dancing, kayaking and snorkeling are always available to guests in the mornings and afternoons. Evening entertainment is provided nightly by a talented staff, either in the in-house theater, in the Margaritas Bar or on the beach. Within walking distance are more amusements for kids, many shopping choices (including a mall right across the street), and handicraft markets.

Meeting rooms with room for between 20 and 200 attendees are available for special events, like weddings and conferences. The in-house theater can also be used for presentations to large groups. The hotel has meeting and event coordinators on staff, who will be pleased to assist with all the arrangements.
