The Hotel Sands is located in the heart of Acapulco’s Golden Zone, just a short walk from some of the best shopping and dining options in the city. It is on the Costera Alemán, a short walk from the “Morros” beach on the bay. The hotel specializes in budget-oriented family vacations, with much entertainment for the kids, right on the premises.
The hotel offers guests a choice from among 60 rooms in the main building and 34 bungalows spread throughout the large property. All have two double beds, terraces or balconies, TV with cable, air conditioning, refrigerator and in-room safe. Some have microwaves. Wireless Internet is available throughout the property.
Guests can take advantage of squash and volleyball courts on the premises, as well as the resort-style pool with a wading pool close by. All the services are set within a lush, garden setting.
The hotel’s restaurant serves three meals a day and provides room service as well as food and beverage service to the pools.
A special attraction is “Sandislandia,” a kids’ fun park with water slides and climbing equipment of several kinds. Special party packages are offered, complete with balloons, entertainment, cake and refreshments.
The Hotel Sands also is a popular venue for wedding receptions and parties of all kinds. The “Las Margaritas” multi-purpose room is a comfortable site for business gatherings, receptions and banquets.
