The Fairmont Acapulco Princess is a luxury resort hotel fronting on Revolcadero Beach, just a few minutes from Acapulco's airport and less than half an hour from downtown. The Aztec pyramid exterior of the Fairmont Acapulco Princess, 15 stories tall, is a landmark that can be spotted from far away. The hotel is set in almost 200 acres of gardens and pools. With its neighboring property, the Fairmont Pierre Marques, the Fairmont Acapulco Princess provides guests a wide array of resort options, including pools and sundecks, restaurants, golf and tennis, a long beach, and a spa. The Fairmont Acapulco Princess has over 1000 rooms and suites. A sister property, the Fairmont Pierre Marques, is close by. A short shuttle ride permits guests to enjoy the facilities offered by that resort as well.
Lobby. Fountains on each side of the open air lobby welcome new guests, and the five swimming pools – one of them a salt water lagoon – are visible just beyond. Lush tropical landscaping surrounds the pools and buildings, offering visitors flowering blooms in every season. The gardens are also home to many flamingos, swans and other tropical birds. Revolcadero Beach can be seen lying just beyond the pools.

The staff includes attentive concierge agents, housekeepers and a bell service. Same day laundry and dry cleaning is available. At reception one has the option of self-parking or valet parking. Guests have the convenience of a number of shops for film, sunscreen, snacks, souvenirs, and other necessaries. A nanny service can be arranged for those who require it. The concierge is also the place for booking all activities for the vacation, including restaurant and club reservations, water sports, golf, transportation and car rental. A travel desk will help guests with reservations and confirmations. At the front desk, business services can be arranged, such as faxes and printing, secretarial help or translation. High-speed wireless Internet access is available in guest rooms and public areas of the hotel (additional fees may apply).
Shuttles take guests to and from the airport or the bus terminal (additional charge). Taxis are always on hand. There is a charge for parking, but valet parking service does not cost extra. A complimentary shuttle takes guests back and forth to the Fairmont Pierre Marqués frequently.
The 1011 rooms and suites of the Fairmont Acapulco Princess are found in three buildings, each built in an Aztec architectural design. The rooms are luxuriously appointed, furnished and decorated, each with a private balcony or patio. Some have views of the ocean, others the golf course, and others the tropical gardens. Each has dressing rooms and ample closets, large baths, cable TV, and air conditioning. Guests can arrange to have high-speed Internet access, a refrigerator, and a crib or rollaway bed. La Hacienda is the Fairmont Acapulco Princess' main fine dining establishment, specializing in the most refined aspects of Mexican culinary style. [link to Hacienda]. The décor and theme is Mexican colonial, from the early 19th century hacienda era. The bar has one of the area’s widest selections of fine tequilas. (Daily 7 pm-12 am). A Sunday brunch is served from noon until 6:00 pm. The Veranda specializes in Italian dishes. Guests can taken in a marvelous view of the sun descending into the Pacific while they enjoy their dinners. (Daily 7 pm-11 pm). Chula Vista is an open-air bar and restaurant at the edge of the salt water lagoon, offering three meals per day, buffet style. The Beach Club restaurant and bar is close to the beach and the pools, offering light food, snacks, lunch, dinner and drinks anytime. Fresh seafood is a mainstay of the menu. (Daily 12 pm-11 pm).
Each day, the hotel staff organizes special activities for kids age 4 to 11 in a supervised program of outdoor activities, games, and indoor diversion. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can take in what the beach has to offer, or the five pools and sundecks, or go relax at the Willow Stream Spa. In addition to playing golf or tennis, adults can get a workout at the exercise facility. Outings to see the sights of Acapulco or for shopping can be set up with the concierge as well.
The Willow Stream Spa covers over 14,000 square feet of space with its different rooms for massages, facials, hydrotherapy, relaxation areas, beauty salon and boutique. The staff provide massages in six cabañas, with two more set aside for couples massage. There are also six rooms for facial treatments. A sauna, steam bath and whirlpool bath are offered as well. The spa is open daily from 8 to 8. No one under 18 is permitted. The Willow Stream fitness center offers more than just Nautilus brand equipment, free weights and cardiovascular machines. A personal trainer can help with a guest’s training goals or weight management, and instruction is available on Pilates, Yoga, spinning and Tai-Chi. A juice bar is provided. The fitness center operates from 7 am to 9 pm.
Guests wishing to play golf can take advantage of the on-site course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Eighteen championship holes are awaiting together with facilities for practicing drives, pitches and putts. Golf equipment rental is at the pro shop. The neighboring course is at the Country Club at Tortuga Downs (opening in December of 2010). The hotel's shuttle service will take guests there. The ride is less than 5 minutes.

The five outdoor pools at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess include four freshwater pools with waterfalls a saltwater lagoon. From each pool guests have a full view of Revolcadero Beach.
