La Isla

This combination of great luxury and showy details in a beautiful atmosphere opened in 2008 with more than 150 boutiques in over 450,000 square feet of space. La Isla is very close to Acapulco's international airport. The open air villas provide different kinds of shops, or places to stop for a snack, or even for fine dining. There are lots of entertainment options as well, including two nightclubs and a large events venue. There is a beautiful water park where kids can swim with the dolphins; also a gaming parlor for bingo, and 10 movie theaters. Two of Mexico's most elegant department stores are represented here: Liverpool and Palacio de Hierro.
