Chinese Cuisine
Chinese cuisine (called “cocina china” in Spanish) is usually thought of as that distinctive mix of flavors of beef, pork, chicken or shrimp with vegetables and rice in a thick sauce, known as chow mein (with rice), chop suey (with crispy noodles) or lo mein (with soft noodles). Other distinctive dishes are egg rolls and wonton soup. This cuisine is known the world over because of a great migration from southern China that took place over 100 years ago.
